Thóin Sailing!

Sailing is a big part of Lance's life and he currently owns one Capri 25 and one Catalina 27 sailboat.

The  Capri-25 in the Thoin! fleet is Scottish Rebel!. She is a 1984 with a sail number of 411. Scottish Rebel! is a racer and has placed very well in the regatta's she has been in so far. Unfortunately, due to the lack of water in Lake Lanier, all the launch ramps are closed so she remains on her trailer. I hope to take her on the road for some on the water fun in other lakes or blue water.

Lance also has a 1984 Tall Rig Catalina 27 that he uses for cruising. The Catalina 27 is a significant step up in the sailing world and will allow up to 6 people to stay on board for short overnight trips. So, look for Póg to be playing out on the lake on a Catalina 27 named Gaelforce!

Gaelforce! has been brought up to higher standards over the winter. She has had a GPS, VHF radio and Fishfider added. In addition, her stove has been refurbished, a fold out table in the cockpit and a new electrical panel have been added. While used as a cruiser, Gaelforce! has actually won or placed well in several races!
